Do you know about Houzz.com? If not, you’re missing
out on what the San Francisco Chronicle says is “quite an addictive site.” I
tend to agree as I could spend hours searching gorgeous interior design pics
and idea books created by Houzz users.
This is the go-to site for everything interior design. You
can browse by style, space, metro or designer to find just what you’re looking
for from their almost 300,000 images and over 1 million idea books! Mark and the team have shared tons of completed
project images on the site. Take a look here. Houzz also features hand-picked recommendations of best product designs from designers and site users.
Then there are the idea books created by Houzz staff,
interior designers and members. A favorite of mine lately is “To Do: ChooseYour Weekend Project.” I live in a 1930’s cottage fixer upper and have a
“to do” list a mile long (yes, really). This idea book took me from overwhelmed
to inspired within minutes. I marked two projects from “to do” to “done” this
past weekend alone.
Be sure to stop by and check out Houzz.com for yourself. Enjoy!
