Mark recently ran across the following diagram outlining “How to Set
a Table” for formal and informal affairs. I was excited to see this primer as I haven’t set
a formal table with flatware in its proper place in what seems like eons. This particular diagram shows how to set various tables for breakfast, lunch, dinner, European, formal and banquet or brunch.
I was inspired to look a little further and immediately did a little google image search for “table setting,” the return was a treasure trove of diagrams and articles on everything from setting a formal wedding table to laying out a casual breakfast table and everything in between. Take a look.
