I love Thursdays because I get to share a different resource each week, and today's resource I am especially excited about. It is a company I have used now for several years, but I have never stepped foot inside their stores, nor ever even spoken to them on the phone (even though my staff has). It is a company though, that has provided me with great service, and an astonishing variety of high quality choices, all from a web site that is clear and easy to use. Today's resource is Circa Lighting. Their web site is www.circalighting.com .
They have brick and mortar stores in Atlanta, Houston, Savannah and Charleston, but as I mentioned it is the website that drew me in. It is clear, concise and above all easy to use. It's broken down into categories of Wall Lights, Ceiling, Exterior and Lamps etc. But each category offers literally hundreds of selections. Unlike most of the large sites, I am a fan of most of the choices too, which makes it especially useful. The styles run from traditional to Modern, so there is a lot of variety, and most come in a variety of finishes too.
The other element that I have come to appreciate is the pricing. I think that they represent great value. For the budget conscious they are about the same price range as the big stores like Crate and Barrel and Restoration Hardware, but you finish up with a look that looks like a catalog, at Circa the look is much more personal and eclectic.
I hope you will check them out, and let me know what you think.

I'm a big fan of theirs, and they are always nice to deal with. Great lighting too!
ok, one more time! I'm friends with the guy that owns Circa Lighting. His name is Andy Singer and he's from Houston where their warehouse is. We're old friends from college days when neither of us were in the "business." He's a great guy, but his merchandise is better. I love that they've opened a retail shop here in Houston because now I can cruise over and get a great fixture without the delivery wait. The other day I was at the Design Center and Andy was there with Thomas O'Brien, who designs for Andy. God, he's one gorgeous human being. I was blinded by his beauty!
Re:Cote de Texas- Andy Singer is truly a wonderful man, but the name of his company is Visual Comfort. Andy's sister Gale owns Circa Lighting. VC is a lighting manufacturer and Circa is a retail store. Those 2 are some seriously hard working siblings!
